Collaboration by Design

I believe collaboration can be deliberately designed. I have built my career around this belief. This blog is about that concept and some things I encountered in my work.

As Matt Taylor has put it in an article on his website called 'Rebuilding the future', deliberateness is a choice:
'The central message was - and is - that we humans are making our future by default. Instead, we must do it by design and deliberate acts of feedback driven building. The future cannot be predicted but it is made.'

The same goes for collaboration. Many organisations handle collaboration as something that can be enforced, encouraged, (the lack of it) taken for granted and many other things.

I hope you enjoy this blog, or disagree with it, love it or hate it. Just as long as you don't just take it for granted. Tell me what you think!
